Horizon Evolve SG Treadmill

Treadmill is quiet running. and doesn't take up much space.

The on and off switch is on the front at the bottom, not easy to get to. Because of this I cannot put the treadmill up to a wall or window or I can't get to the switch.

Also the safety key has to be in place or the treadmill won't run. The safety key is a red button with a string and clip. You're suppose to clip the string to yourself so if you fall, the button is pulled from the machine and the machine stops. I've never used these safety keys. The last treadmill I had, the key was inserted and left there. This treadmill's safety key can be lost easily as it is nothing more than a cheap magnet. I've cut the string off the button and painted the red button black to fade in with the silver color. Now it has to be glued into place so it isn't lost or we won't be able to use the treadmill. There should be a way to use the treadmill without it being necessary to used this safety key.

We are looking for another treadmill to replace this one.

it have everything you need. the best thing i like it doesn't need alot of space for storage. i am using this treadmill since 4 years.

This is perfect out of the box. I have a son with Downsyndrome, his balance is not real good but he has no problem walking on this machine. It is great!!

this is the perfect unit for me-it is compact and i can fold it up in our little house. It gives me just the workout i need every day. i bought it used and i am very happy with it

I have been using it for about two weeks now. Seems fine, I am leary of jogging fast on it, always worried about slippage since the unit is not as stout as others. For fast walk it works well. Ask me again in a couple months. That will be the real test. Thank you.

just what i was looking for. i recently recovered from open heart surgery and as the weather got colder, was not getting my 3-mile walks in. this does the trick.heart rate monitor works great. just took out of box and got to work. thanks.

This treadmill exceeds all of my expectations.
I had to have a treadmill that would take up very little space. This treadmill is perfect for people with little space! It is easy to fold/unfold for storing/use.

Although the treadmill arrived inoperable and with a few superficial cracks in plastic parts - when repaired it worked great. It took over a week to have a serviceman come. However,
it performs as advertised and has a low profile.

i hadd it opened up and on my carpet with no problem .i dont hear any loud noises ts wonderful i hurt my back but am able to walk on this for a short time .its wonderful

This was not as easy as the info ads make it.
It took a lot longer to unpack and I had to move it to a place to use it. Then I had to get rid of the packing. Then I had to oil it and get the belt adjusted correctly. It took a long time.
They make it look so easy on tv which it wasn't. The treadmill looks nice and i love the size and the fact i can move it out of the way. i have been gone but am looking forward to using it. I think it was a good value for the money too. Storing it was the reason I bought it.

Information regarding easy set up is absolutely true. Right out of the box, unfold, plug in and you are ready to go!
Price is great.
Sleek design, sturdy, safe, controls easy to use.
Speakers for my ipod are awesome.
I use it to walk 5-6 days/week for 30 minutes.
Very happy with the Horizon Evolve.

This treadmill is easy to set up and use. I had to have a treadmill that would take up very little space. This treadmill is perfect for people with little space! Only con for me, so far, is that you are limited to jogging at a max of 6 mph. If you are tall, this treadmill is not for you given the narrow and short space to jog or walk. Overall, I think this a great treadmill, especially for the price!

They aren't kidding when they say there is no assembly required. I didn't believe it till i saw it. It was GREAT! I pulled it right out of the box, flipped the masts up and away i went. I wish that the speed went up past 6mph ...for when i get to that point.

I am mightily dissatisfied with my recent purchase of a Horizon Evolve SG Treadmill. I received the treadmill just over 10 days ago and set it up the way the instruction manual said. Nowhere did anything say not to use it on carpet, but I immediately noticed a loud screeching noise when I tried to use it on the carpet. Carpet is all I have at home, except in the entryway to my living room and my garage, neither of which is suitable for a treadmill. So I am out the price of a treadmill and pad, which I would not have had to spend if your literature and advertising were truthful. My previous treadmill was constructed differently, so that the belt did not rub against the carpet.

The console had power but not the motor, and consequently the belt did not run. How this unit passed an inspection makes one doubt an inspection occurred at all. Recommendation: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

I use this treadmill for walking not jogging. I set the speed at 4 mph for 1 hour, three times a week. This machine is very easy to use. In the past, I went to a local park to walk, however, I would not walk at the park during inclement weather. Now I walk no matter what the weather conditions are. I have reduced my waist by 1" in the last 5 months. This treadmill exceeds all of my expectations.
