Horizon Fitness EX69 Elliptical

Instructions for assembly were very good. Assembled in about two and a half hours. Delivery was faster than anticapeted. Operation very smooth and features are what we expected.

I have used the EX69 several times so far and like it a lot. It feels solid and moves quietly. The fan is a particularly nice feature. The instructions for assembly use relatively few words, but I could follow the diagrams and assembled it on my own in just a few hours.

I put it together, but my overall impression will be how the unit holds up. Ask me in a year, and then I will be able to give Horizon a complete testimonial.

The machine was easy to put together even though I have Multiple Sclerosis and sometimes my fingers don't work well. I have a long way to go to build up time and endurance but so far, I love the Elliptical. It is so quiet compared to my treadmill and I can read, watch TV or listen to music while getting a great workout. I have already recommended this to some of my friends and offered to help them assemble it .

LOVE IT! Smooth, quiet and full of nice features. Much more solid than I expected.

I bought the ex69 for my wife; but I had to put it together and test it out; now I am an avid fan of this machine and my schwinn airdyne. Great to rotate; this machine is not that hard to assemble; it is smooth as silk; nice stride length for my wife is 5' 9" and I am 5' 11" and it works great... I shopped and for the money it will be hard to beat this machine; great customer service as well. Thank you...

I purchased this elliptical on-line a few months ago based on the reviews from Consumer Reports. Overall I really like the elliptical; however after using for one month the calories/speed/distance stopped showing up and the elliptical would just turn off in the middle of my work out (several times). Customer service has been good so far...I have had a technician try to fix this twice and am now waiting for the technician to come a 3rd time to hopefully fix the issue.

Loving this machine. I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between this and elliptical in the gym. Very sturdy and quiet. Me and my brother put it together in about an hour and it was quite simple. 2 sets of hands helped alot. The one flaw it may have is that at its lowest resistance setting it is still alot of resistance. Maybe it needs a breaking in period. Figured the speakers for the ipod would suck but they are actually quite good. Couldn't be happier.

This elliptical bike operates very well and it 's quiet. The sound speakers could be better for base type music playing from iPod

I only used it 1 time so far, I put it together in about 2 hours. The instructions were very easy to follow if you pay attention. It works as well as the very expensive one at the fitness center. I would recommend this machine to anyone.

Well, my wife and I have owned and used this product now for about 2 months. I am not impressed with the product. In this short period of time the stepper has developed multiple knocking noises and mechanical issues. Also the left pedal support is tilting due the main bearing in the left step long arm wearing. The main housing is now squeaking as it rotates. I think for the $$$ spent I could have done better. The design of this unit is lacking.

I looked at lots of different elliptical machines and did my homework. I am very pleased with this purchase so far and feel that it is a great value for the money.

So far so good as I have only this unit a couple of weeks. The only thing that I wished it had was an on/off switch. If I have overlooked it, please let me know where it is. It is a small inconvenience to have to unplug it every time.

This is a great machine! Was not too difficult to put togehter, very smooth and quiet ride...love the iPOD hook-up. Just overall great product!

This is my 2nd purchase for fitness equipment from Horizon. My first was the T-1201 treadmill. I have been using a generic eliptical for the past 3 years along side of my Horizon treadmill. Until my old treadmill quit, I really did not know the difference in quality until the new purchase. I enjoy the smooth & ease of the new elipticlal & let me tell you first hand, I am getting a serious workout as this machine is so smooth it is very deceiving on actually how much & many muscles are being worked.

My husband assembled it and appreciated the detailed & easy to read directions - including all the tools needed. Solidly built and extremely quiet. I have arthritis and used the EX69 with no problems. It is truly effortless. I did my comparison research, including store hands-on of other brands and picked the winner! This is the only one I'm recommending.

When the delivery box came, I was somewhat intimidated by the number of parts. However, the unit went together relatively hassle free. The directions were clear and the unit functioned immediately upon assembly. The swinging arms are a little more narrow, then I would had preferred, but overall very pleased with the product.

I purchased the EX-68in November 2010. Very easy to put together when you follow the instruction manuel. My only complaint is better instruction is needed to demonstrate the functions on the control panel. I would highly recommend the product.

I have enjoyed the ability to use the IPOD with the speaker system. It's great to be able to work out with my own music. The footpedals move smoothly and the workouts are intense without being too strenuous. The unit can be moved easily if necessary.

My wife and I purchased this to replace another one I broke (different brand). So far we are very happy with this one. Assembly was easy, everything was labeled, directions easy to follow.
This elliptical is very quiet, rides very smooth, seems like it will hold up well for years. Controls are easy to use, wife likes the built in fan, me I like to sweat. As of now we havn't found anything wrong with this machine and would recommend it to anyone interested in purchasing one

I have been pleased with this Elliptical thus far. My only complaint was that I had to put it together myself.

Very pleased with the new elliptical. It is so smooth and quiet. The preset programs are more helpful than I thought they would be. The fan is very strong.

Very easy assembly came with all the tools love it

We purchased the Horizon EX-68 Elliptical in November of 2010. During shipment one of the metal frame components came loose from the packaging and in putting the elliptical together we noticed one of the side covers had cracked as a result of the metal piece resting against the plastic cover during shipping. We put the EX-68 together anyway as it did not harm the operation of the elliptical.

We regestered the EX-68 with Horizon and then called them. Horizon shipped us a replacement cover and a pedal puller to pull the pedal from the shaft and remove and replace the wheel weight cover. Everything went back together fine - since we had not aligined the pedals prior to this experience that took three trys but really was not bad. Horizon told us to keep the pedal puller and did not charge us a dime for shipping or product. The folks on the phone were professional and polite. From support and responsivness alone we would recomment Horizon.

We have been using the product 5 to 6 days a week and are very pleased with the performance and functionality of the the EX-68. We purchased the Horizon because we have a friend that has one he has used for about ten years with no complaints. We feel we made the right decision and feel comfortable recommending the product to others. The EX-68 is stable, quiet, comfortable (actually it will wear you out) and very smooth in the way it operates. We have it downstairs in front of a TV and are exceptionally pleased with the product and with the service.

Machine was easy to put together. I like the mp3 and fan functions. Seems like a quality product so far. Would recommend to friends and family.

The Horizon EX69 is a great elliptical machine. I would say it is as good as ellipticals costing twice as much. I looked at all the different brands and found that the quality was much better than most. You can't beat the lifetime warranty on the frame. When I bought mine it came with a extra 1yr. on everything else and it is onsite. I would recommend the EX69 Elliptical for anyone looking for an elliptical for their home.
